Ted Vigil - John Denver Tribute Lancaster Concert reviews
Disappointing on so many levels
I was disappointed in his set choice. I felt like I was at a Social Justice rally. His hands floated over the keys of his piano, and I couldn't believe the sounds coming from him. I get that he has 2nd-tier songs that his uber-fans know so well, but for those of us who know the other 30 mega-hits, and paid hundreds of dollars, I wish he would've stuck to his major hits. Ted Vigil - John Denver Tribute has mumbled his lyrics for 50 years, but even when I knew the lyrics, I couldn't understand what he was saying. I appreciated his overt messages of Love, and agree with him 100%, but some of the other subliminal messages in videos was not what I paid $600 for two tickets for. When I was driving there, I remarked to my wife about the $20 I expected to pay for parking, and how arbitrary that seemed, only to find when I got there that it wasn't $20, but $30!!! I thought the audio quality was not very good. Finally, I doubt I'll ever go to PNC for another concert. I was stunned and amazed at how talented a pianist Ted Vigil - John Denver Tribute is. Too bad they hardly ever showed this on the gigantic screens, which were very impressive, too.
